The aim of the elevator pitch format
Elevator pitches offer innovative companies, start-ups and research projects the opportunity to present their solutions or concepts in the real estate or infrastructure sector in just three minutes.
The focus is on ideas that are relevant to the industry – whether through increased efficiency, sustainability, risk management or new business models.
General conditions
- 6 slots of 3 minutes per session
- No categories; the advisory board selects the six most convincing ideas
- Free participation and tickets for the winners
- Application deadline: 13 March 2026
- Live presentation at Zoo Palast on 20 May during the first lunch break
- Goal: Inspiration, food for thought and investment ideas
CONTENT RQUIREMENT FOR THE APPLICATION
The submission should be no more than one page (approx. 2,000 characters) and optionally include a video of no more than 3 minutes, answering the following key questions:
Idea & relevance
- What is the core issue or problem you are solving?
- For whom is the issue particularly relevant?
- What specific benefits or added value do you offer – e.g. in terms of performance, sustainability, data quality or regulation?
Degree of innovation
- What is new or different about your approach?
- Are there already pilot projects, proof of concept or partnerships?
Impact & market potential
- What impact or scaling potential does your idea have on the real estate or infrastructure industry?
- How could it change existing processes, business models or valuation logic?
Format & Presentation
- Who will be presenting (name, position)?
- Optional: 1 slide (PDF or JPG, max. 5 MB) for visual support
- Language: German or English
